Chicago Designer Nicole Maret Prescribes The Antidote To Conformity This A/W '18
Last night, This Is The Order designer Nicole Maret celebrated the Autumn/Winter ‘18 collection, Antidote, at Studio 6f in Chicago.
This Is The Order prescribed the antidote to conformity and shared a collection that embodied the duality of traditional paired with non-traditional design elements and textiles.
A brand that has built its foundation on designing in all black, the Antidote collection broke away and debuted 4 white pieces this season. It is a beautiful and refreshing collection where balance is found detailed with safety pics, vinyl, silk, and mesh.
In an age where worth is measured in numbers and algorithm, there is comfort found in quality pieces, handmade to order, with thought and intention.
Guests were greeted at the door with a fully immersive experience. Trays of “antidotes” were prescribed throughout the evening. It was an event that stood out from the rest and was carefully curated.
The collection price tag ranges from $48 for a hand-painted tee to $525 for a silk jacket.
The entire collection is handmade in Chicago and can be found here.
