All of the paper in our house is 100% recycled and unbleached, and we strive to limit our plastic use. When we do purchase plastic products, we aim to purchase plant based or at least 65% recycled plastic products. I am still searching for the best garbage bags for the earth and the function of our home. We currently use Seventh Generation 65% recycled bags. After testing a ton of plant based and 100% recycled bags, we found the functionality is not quite there for everyday use. If you have a favorite functional garbage bag that is compostable or plant based (that does not tear or break with normal use) please share!!
