How To Dress Up Your Office Hair In Under 10 Minutes With Stacked Hair Clips For The Holiday Season
I have been growing out bangs for what seems like forever now.
Its been about a year now and they are finally reaching the point that they blend in much better with my blunt cut. Luckily hair clips and barrettes have made a major come back this past year and have gotten me through a lot of that awkward phase that comes with bang outgrowth territory.
I have really gotten into stacking and piling them on high, and sometimes 5 layers deep on both sides. I love mixing textures from faux pearls to monochromatic beaded sets and sparkly word clips.
Hair clips are a really easy way to dress up a simple look or to change up a capsule wardrobe and make pieces fresh for each new season.
I like to work in sets of 3 or 5 and sometimes I do a set of 3 on one side and a set of 5 on the other if I am feeling super festive!

Monochromatic outfits are my favorite way to quickly create outfits from cozy casual to cocktail attire.
I start with one element of the outfit and build on that piece. I saw these hair clips and wanted to create a look around my favorite color as of late to wear, red. Red is a power color. It is bright, strong, and confident. It is not for the faint of heart or those looking to blend in, especially when worn head to toe. With the holidays coming up, I wanted to put together something that was fun, playful and festive.
I am layering a slip dress from my favorite New York designer Daher Label and a wrap dress from Stix and Roses.
The hair clips can be found on my new Amazon storefront here under the accessories collection!
