Give The People What They Want This Valentine's Day The Best Vegan Chocolate We Have Ever Had
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I wanted to put together a few features of some of our favorite vegan sweet treats that make the best gift! What better way to kick off the season than with chocolate.
This past December I was introduced to VGAN Chocolates, a local company that uses 100% vegan and organic ingredients.
I have tried quite a few vegan chocolate bars before, most of which were dry or super hard or didn’t have that creamy consistency that comes from a traditional milk chocolate bar.
VGAN had me at first bite. Their mylk chocolate bar is smooth, creamy and delicious. They retail at $5.99 and make the little perfect sweet gift for co-workers or loved ones. My personal favorite is the Hazelnut Crunch, a blend of rich chocolate, hazelnuts and mulberries.

I love chocolate paired with nutty and fruity elements. VGAN has five different flavors to choose from currently: salty caramel, dark chocolate, mylk chocolate, grapefruit + chia, and my favorite hazelnut + mulberry. My dad’s favorite is the salty caramel, and my mom loves the classic mylk chocolate. I will definitely be stocking up on a few bars for V-Day and will also be serving them at our Galentine’s Day Vision Board Party on February 8th.
Another important element to these bars is that they are pure, organic and free from the nasty (corn, fructrose syrup, and all the other fillers and junk in candy. They are kosher, fairtrade, dairy free, gluten free, and soy free, plus they are local which is always a fun perk.
