One Of Our Editors Tried Out Tape In Extensions With An In-Home Service And Is Sharing Her Thoughts On The Experience
New hair who dis?! Holy smokes... I am not sure where to start! @prettyconvenientapp has made me a believer and has totally transformed my opinion on hair extensions. To say that I was sketchy and anti-extensions would be an understatement. I haven’t worn them since my early 20’s and a lot has changed since then.
Reia and Tracy from the Pretty Convenient App, are ridiculously talented at what they do and it goes to show that when you hire the right person for the job, it changes everything.
I got to meet Tanya, the founder of Fabuloz Hair at a professional continued education workshop she was hosting this past week. I learned so much about hair extensions and the process of taking care of your extensions, along with how much work she put in to creating her brand and her product. Find out more about the services below!

I can’t say enough good things about @prettyconvenientapp, their commitment to education is inspiring and it comes across in their work. Stay tuned for more details and photos of me loving on my new hair! You can watch the whole process in my highlights on Instagram right now.
Interested in trying them out yourself? Here is all you need to know about the in home extension services:
The price is $120 per bundle. Average hair is 4-5 bundles. I added a solid 7 inches of length to my hair and used 6 bundles. My total experience for the initial installation was $600 (gratuity is included in all Pretty Convenient pricing). I am not your typical hair extension experience. We wanted to accomplish extremely dramatic results. Once you purchase the hair, during your first install it is yours. That means your maintenance services are going to sit closer to $90. With proper maintenance and care, the hair can last up to a year. And don’t forget mention SARAROSE for 15% that initial install to save some money!
If you are looking to just add volume to fine hair (not necessarily length)? The average is around $360.
Just wanting to add a few to fill in the sides of say a fine/weak hairline (an example would be breakage from too much heat styling)? The average is about $120 to $240.
The stylists with PC always have a digital consultation (gotta love technology!) prior to the artist arrival to ensure they are completely confident and understand your vision. They last 4-6 weeks with proper care and includes the Neon Dry Cleanse and Dry Conditioner for proper home maintenance. The Neon line donates a portion of product sales to stop bullying, so cool! They also provide each client with a pdf with all home care instructions.
I will be rocking my new long hair for the next 4-6 weeks and can’t wait to share more photos with you!
