We love it so much. Besides great live music and delicious food, we love to shop at our favorite local boutiques. We got to visit Posh in Franklin and picked up some perfect staples for our spring/summer road trip.
Spring is here and we are ready to make the most of it. After a year of staying in we are ready to go out!
First stop is Sanibel Island for a week of fun in the sun and sand. Sunsets and shell collecting are a few of my favorite activities on the island, but mornings and nights can get chilly. We road tripped down, so packing light and making sure we had the essentials was our goal here. I had 25 days of travel and 3 different climates that needed to fit in to two small duffle bags.

ROAD TRIP STAPLES
Cozy Knit Set
I love this cozy green knit set I picked up from Posh Franklin! Not only is it great for looking cute while on a 20 hour road trip, its so cozy and can be broken up into separates for making the most of essential packing. I mixed and matched with jean shorts, skirts, and graphic tees. I got at least 10 outfits out of this 2 piece set.
Oversized Graphic Tee
Oversized graphic tees are probably my most purchased items. I love buying them long enough to wear as dresses for a rocker vibe or layered over slip dresses, tied up in a knot with pants, skirts, or shorts… And they lend to that classic vintage road trip vibes! Add a good hat and a rad pair of sunglasses and you are vintage rocker chic in less than 2 minutes. You can’t beat that.
Floral Sun Dress
When I escape the cold and get away somewhere warm, I love to wear as many dresses as I can. I am not a huge fan of pants. I am a dress girl all the way. The great thing about sun dresses is that they take up hardly any space and its complete on its own. There is no guess work. You throw it on and you are dressed! You can also layer a knit sweat or graphic tee tied up over it and you get a couple bonus outfits.
