During our December 2019 holiday pop-up shop, we were introduced to Sheila Patel, the owner and founder of Life Bags Company.
Fast forward 6 months later and a friendship and amazing network has been established. The world looks a lot different in 2020, but one thing is for sure, we are certainly better together!
Sheila is a firm believer in collaboration and building strong female led networks. She is an advocate for many and leads with love and compassion.
Two years ago she launched LIFE Bags Company. LIFE stands for: Love, Identity, Foundation, Education. Elements Sheila believes are universal truths to success. All of the bags are vegan. In addition to being mindful of the environment, she takes sustainability full circle. She built her brand around a need she saw in her parents home village in India. Initially providing convertible bags that transitioned from bag to desk for young students, her give back program has grown and expanded. You can learn more here.
In 2020, LIFE Bags Company added a collection of dresses and robes made from repurposed saris.
